Attorney Lawrence Riefberg starts his own practice
March 1, 2016 — With more than three decades of experience, local attorney Lawrence M. Riefberg is launching his own firm this week specializing in real estate and relocation services.
“I’ve been doing a lot of thinking lately about what I’d like my practice to be moving forward,” said Riefberg. “And I decided that by starting my own firm I can really focus all our resources on real estate to better serve our clients. It’s a new beginning.”

Head-Shaving Stunt Raises $67,000 For Hospice
April 11, 2014 — Larry Riefberg says the decision he made to shave his entire head of hair was a small price to pay for a good cause: raising money for a new residential hospice building in Danbury.
Riefberg, who was turning 56, decided he wanted to get creative and raise at least $56,000 for Regional Hospice and Home Care of Western Connecticut in Danbury.

Danbury Democrats Name New Chair
January 18, 2023 — The Danbury Democratic Town Committee has named a new chairman, in the wake of Roberto Alves stepping down to pursue mayoral ambitions.
Local attorney Larry Riefberg was unanimously elected to the DTC’s top spot at a meeting Tuesday night.
